At this time Rachel will be flying to Haiti Friday, Sept 3rd and returning on Monday, Sept. 6.  Most exciting part of the return flight--other than returning home to our girls--James will be joining me on this flight.  He will be home for one week.  We are praying that God give us the wisdom in making the  a BIG DECISION --a decision which may mean that James will continue his work in Haiti for 6 more months!  With the economy and the job situation in south Florida--we are trusting in God--who has lead and will continue to lead.

Many have mentioned going on Face book--at this time, this is our way of communicating with those who take the time to read the blog.  Maybe in the near future you will see our names on Face book.  WE thank you for your prayers, comments, and support.

For us girls --school starts Monday, Aug 16 for me.  I have s student teacher this fall and I am excited about the opportunity to team teach.  Partnering with the college educational department helping to equip future teachers--what a joy and blessing is mine.

August 23 is the first day of classes---Whitney is looking forward to her sophomore year, and has already set some wonderful goals for herself.   She will be in band again this year and is excited about the road trip they will be taking.  Erin starts  7th grade and she has the opportunity of taking pre algebra.  We are excited this opportunity has been given to her, as she pursues her educational goals.  God has talented her in many ways, like her sister and, yet each of them are so unique and wonderful.  We are blessed to have them as our daughters.

Like most parents we are faced with challenges of the pre teen and teen age years, and ever eternally thankful for the widsom from above.  Also, we are indebted to our parents for the godly heritiage they gave each of us--shapening us and molding us into the people we are today.  A HUGE PRAISE OF GRATITUDE to my parents --mom is now in heaven--and to James' parents--THANKS for all the years of love, the tears and prayers, the guidance and instruction you gave each of us!!!
